Digital wealth and capital infrastructure for the West African landscape.
In development for the Nigerian market, Veridity uses automated framework logic to orchestrate local capital efficiencies, widen financial accessibility, and bring institutional-grade operating standards to digital finance.
The thesis
Capital is present. The infrastructure to organise it is not.
West African markets hold substantial domestic capital and a young, digitally native population. What remains scarce is the operational layer between them: the account structures, verification, reporting and controls institutions require before capital can be deployed at scale.
Veridity is being built as that layer for the Nigerian market first — automated framework logic carrying the operational discipline, so accessibility and institutional standards stop being a trade-off.
Three mandates
Orchestrate local capital efficiencies
Structure domestic capital so it can be allocated, monitored and reported on with the discipline applied in developed markets.
Bridge financial accessibility
Reduce the operational cost of serving a participant, so the platform reaches people that manual processes make uneconomic to onboard.
Hold institutional standards
Operate to the group technical framework and compliance policy from the first release, not as a later retrofit.
Framework logic
Automation where judgement is not required.
Onboarding and verification
Identity, eligibility and risk banding resolved automatically, with exceptions escalated rather than queued.
Allocation and limits
Policy encoded as executable rules — mandates, exposure limits and permitted instruments enforced at the point of action.
Reconciliation and reporting
Positions, movements and balances reconciled continuously, producing statements and regulatory reporting as a by-product.
Controls and audit
Every automated decision recorded with its inputs, so operational and compliance review works from the same record.

Within the group
A distinct vehicle, one governing framework.
Veridity is a separate technology company with its own market and operating model, governed by the technical framework, compliance policies and operating standards Barklem&Chi maintains across the group. Its build shares that framework with nelum.tech rather than duplicating it.
